Misuse of a blue badge
If you are convicted of misusing a blue badge, this could result in the badge being taken away and a fine of up to £1000. The blue badge should only be used when the owner of the badge holder is present.
The S117 Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 is the regulation that covers the misuse of a blue badge.
